I was being friendly too, WE’VE NEVER CARRIED THAT ITEM but of course you know more than me since you’re older. My last four years of knowledge in this store mean nothing compared to your great wit.

Hrrrgh I never got that mentality

It’s like they think saying “yes you do have it” will magically make it materialize somewhere in the store, or they think we’re hiding it behind the counter or in the back and not letting anyone buy it for some reason.
^ this, I get that a lot where I work.
